Happy Thanksgiving!!




 Sharing some last minute Thanksgiving and Fall cards for the season before full time Christmas descends! These cards all use various Concord & 9th stamps and dies. I've discovered Concord & 9th fairly recently, and I'm absolutely in love 😍 I can’t wait to start making Christmas cards as well with the stash I have been collecting.




The first card uses the Thankful Leaves die for a beautifully detailed white leaf layered over a watercolor background created with barn door, spiced marmalade and mustard seed distress inks. The cute Happy Fall sentiment is from the Concord & 9th Tiny Tagalong stamp set.



The second card features one of the great Concord & 9th turnabout stamps, the Thankful Leaves Turnabout. This turnabout is stamped in Concord & 9th premium dye ink in Cranberry, Marmalade, Buttercup and Wheat. The sentiment is also included with the turnabout, and stamped in Wheat.




The third card features leaf elements and a sentiment from the Give Thanks stamp set. The leaves are stamped in Concord & 9th Stardust and Wheat, over a rectangle from the Painted Shapes stamp set stamped in buttercup. I stamped the bottom of the stamp after re-inking for an ombré effect. I love the way the wheat ink gives a subtle gold tone to this bold sentiment.




The fourth card features the same sentiment with one of the leaves from the Layering Leaves dies, which coordinate with the Give Thanks stamp set. The leaves are cut from an 80 lb Neenah White cardstock panel, and then the die cuts are inset back into the card panel. This is layered over a distress ink watercolor panel, again using barn door, spiced marmalade and mustard seed.







One final card with a more monochromatic look. The Thankful Leaves Turnabout was stamped four times on Kraft cardstock in Hero Arts unicorn white ink. The sentiment (included with the turnabout) was stamped in black archival ink, and the stripes from the Concord & 9th Trim the Tree stamp set were used as as accent to tie the black to the rest of the cards.

 This may be my favorite holiday sentiment; it captures the joy and excitement of the season. I love this super festive stamp from Honey Bee stamps. For these cards, I've layered it on bright backgrounds from Concord & 9th, Sunshine Turnabout, Candy Stripe and Scattered Dots Turnabout. Concord & 9th inks used: Poppy, Aqua Sky, Sprout and Buttercup.

Trim the Tree with Concord & 9th Stamps and dies

 Having some fun playing with the Concord & 9th Trim the Tree Stamps and Dies to make some happy holiday cards. The first two feature a light pink to dark red gradient color palette for a slightly different twist on holiday cheer. The striped background is made from the three stripe stamp in the stamp set. The third card features a monochromatic poppy red palette with a split background featuring the Sketched Stripe background from Concord and 9th and the Tiny Text Christmas set from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous. I love the festive tree shaped sentiment from the Trim the Tree sentiment, stamped in the tree  cutout.
